Registration

How do I complete my registration?

  1. On the webinar webpage that you would like to attend and register for, click on the 'Register Here' button.  You will be directed to a page to initiate your webinar registration.
  2. Upon clicking on the 'Register' button, you will be directed to a page requesting your information.
  3. Upon clicking 'Next', you will be directed to the 'Select functions for Webinar Title' registration page. Select the webinar by checking the box to add to your cart.  If you would like to earn CEU for participating, select "add CEUs" by checking the box to add to your cart.  Then click 'Next.'
  4. Please review your order summary to confirm that all the information provided is correct and then click 'Next.'
  5. If you selected to receive CEUs and/or you are a non-member you will then be directed to a page to process your payment and complete your registration.  
  6. If you are a member and have not selected to receive CEUs, you will be directed to final 'Order Summary' page.

I did not receive a confirmation or reminder email regarding the webinar I registered for.

Immediately after clicking on the "Register" button, you will be directed to an ‘Order Summary’ page confirming your registration...
 
 
 
This will be followed by an "NRAA Order Confirmation" e-mail in your in-box from " This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. " thanking you for registering...
 
 
You will receive another e-mail from ‘Webinar Information [ This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ]’ with the subject line: ‘Meeting Invitation: Title of Webinar Here’ that includes YOUR webinar conference link and dial in information.  A similar e-mail will go out as a reminder an hour prior to the webinar's broadcast time.

Please check your spam or junk email folders if you do not receive a confirmation email immediately after registering. You may need to add This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. How do I "cancel" my NRAA Webinar registration?
In the unfortunate circumstance that you are unable to make the Webinar that you registered for, please reply to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  via the e-mailed order confirmation that you will be unable to attend. Please note our cancellation policy listed on the webinar's webapage for additional details and restrictions.
 
 
Can I register for an NRAA Webinar and provide the dial-in number and conference link to other staff in my office, or does each participant need to register separately?
Each participant must register separately.  Do not share your dial-in number and conference link with your staff.  The conference link is specific to your connection only; if others use the conference link that you were provided, you will be kicked off of the webinar.  If other members of your organization are interested in attending an NRAA Webinar, please direct them to the webinar's webpage to register.  
 
 
Do I need to register individually even if another person in our organization registered for the call/webinar as well?
Yes, you must register to participate in an NRAA webinar.  Please do not use another person’s dial-in and conference link.  Using another person’s webinar access information will kick them off of the webinar.  The webinar conference link is only good for one person.  Click here to register.
 
 
Registration closed before I could register. Can I still participate in the webinar?
Unfortunately, once registration is closed we are unable to take any additional registrations.  Registration will close Noon pm ET, 11am CT, 9am PT (1 hour prior to the broadcast time of the webinar).  However, NRAA will post the audio and presentation recording approximately one week after the webinar on the NRAA's Education Station
 
 
How do I add an NRAA Webinar I registered for to my Outlook calendar?
In the e-mail notification you will receive upon registering, from ‘Webinar Information [ This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ]’ with the subject line: ‘Meeting Invitation: Title of Webinar Here’, there is be an Outlook Calendar attachment.  Double-click the attachment and then click on accept to add to your calendar.

I am not sure whether I am an NRAA Member and would like to check my status. Who should I contact?

I am having trouble logging into my account.  How can I have my login information sent to me?

If you are an NRAA member, it is important that your login using your member credentials.  Please do not create a new account as it will create a duplicate record, the system will not recognize you as a member and YOU WILL NOT BE OFFERED MEMBER PRICING.

If you are not a member, but have purchased from NRAA before, please use existing credentials so that the system recognizes you and does not create a new record.  Click on “find an existing account” if you do not recall login credentials used previously. 

If you know you are a member but do not recall your credentials, click “login” and then “forgot my password” or “forgot my login” and the information will be instantly emailed to you.

I am not an NRAA member, but I would like to join to receive discounts to webinars and other benefits.  How do I submit a membership application?

I want to provide Webinar access to several members of my team; what is the best way to do this?
Webinars are a great learning tool to share with your team, because it is convenient, relevant and affordable.  Although members of your team can register for a webinar as a non-member, you can optimize your savings by signing up the members of your team as additional contacts of your membership.  Additional Contacts receive all NRAA member benefits, including access to the Members Only website, NRAA e-mail communications, including the weekly Renal Watch newsletter, and discounted meeting registration rates.  Additional Contacts are not eligible to vote or be a candidate for, elected to or appointed to the Board or serve as an Officer.  Dues for each individual additional contact are only $50 per year (July 1 - June 30).  Visit our Membership Benefits page and download an additional contact membership application here.

When can I register and learn more about next month's webinar?
Next month's webinar will be announced after this month's live session has occurred.  Next month's webinar description, learning objectives, speaker(s), and registration will be available on-line after this month's webinar on Webinar Wednesday (the last Wednesday of every month**) at 2pm ET, 1pm CT, 11am PT.
 
 

Webinar Connectivity and Functionality

What do I do if I receive an “unable to connect to the presentation” error message? 
This may indicate that you are behind a firewall that is not allowing you to connect to the webinar. Please visit the TelSpan system test at www.telspanvenue.com/systemtest for more details regarding the current status of your system. If you are not able to connect to any RTMP or screen sharing ports, then you will need to adjust your firewall settings.
 
It is recommended that you connect to the webinar at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled webinar start time.
 
 
I cannot connect to the webinar.  Who do I contact for help?
If you have not received an e-mail with your conference link and the dial-in information from Webinar Information [  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ]’ with the subject line: ‘Meeting Invitation: Title of Webinar Here, please contact NRAA directly at (215) 320-4981 or by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Do I need to provide any information when I connect to the webinar as a participant?
Upon dialing in you will be asked to provide your name and organization name.  We recommend that you connect and dial in into the webinar at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled broadcast time.  The conference link provided may ask you to provide your name.
 
 
During an NRAA Webinar, how do I get into queue to ask a question?
Toward the end of every webinar there will be a Question & Answer period, the operator will make an announcement when the Q & A period starts.
 
To ask a question during an NRAA webinar:
 
If you would like to ask your question live during ther webinar, press star (*) the operator will then connect your line to ask your question.
 
Additionally you may submit questions using the chat box on the lower left-hand corner.  You may use the chat box any time during the webinar.  The speaker(s) will answer questions submitted in the chat box if he or she is able to while presenting, or the speaker will answer any questions submitted in the chat box during the Q & A period at the end of the call.  
 
 

Accessing Webinar Recordings

If I am unable to attend an NRAA Webinar, will the audio recording and presentation be available later?
Yes, NRAA will post the audio and presentation recording approximately one week after the webinar on the NRAA's Education Station.
 
 
Where can I find the recording of an NRAA webinar?
All NRAA Webinars are recorded and syced with speaker slides, and are accessible via the NRAA Members only section. Webinar audio and presentation recordings may be viewed on the NRAA Resources for Members page (members only – login required).  Once on the NRAA Resources for Members page, under ‘Education’ click on the ‘View recordings of previous Webinar Wednesdays’ link to be directed to where previous Webinar Wednesdays are stored. 
 
 
How do I access the links to past webinars?
If you are using Internet Explorer:
  • Click on the link of a webinar, another webpage will open, click on "Click here to start the NRAA Webinar." Then choose "Allow" for the website to open your computer's audio and video player.  The webinar will automatically begin.
If you are using Google Chrome:
  • Click on the link of  a webinar, another webpage will open, click on "Click here to start the NRAA Webinar." The webinar recording will automatically begin. 
 

Earning Continuing Education

How do I receive continuing education credit?
To receive credit for participating in an NRAA Webinar Wednesday, during registration check the box underneath the ‘Add CEUs’ on the ‘select function’ page.  If you selected and paid for your CEU during the registration process and participated in the live webinar you will receive your CEU certificate within a couple of days of participating on the webinar.  If it is not recorded that you participated on the webinar, on both dial-in and conference link, you will not receive a CEU certificate.  If you have questions on how to receive credit for participation in our webinar, please contact us directly at (215) 320-4981 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The National Renal Administrators Association is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 10584, for 1 contact hour.
 
NOTE:  Nurses are responsible for contacting their state board to determine if credit issued through an approved provider of the CA Board of Nursing is accepted by their state board.
 
 
Can I attain CEUs for viewing a previous webinar?
At this time CEU's are only available for live participation in webinars as they are presented, and are not distributed for viewing past webinars. 
 
 
I listened to an NRAA Webinar, but I was not registered. Can I receive a certificate of participation?

How often are live webinars held?
NRAA Webinar Wednesdays occur on the last Wednesday of each month at 1:00pm Eastern Daylight Time. **
 
**April's Webinar will be held on April 20.
 
How long are the webinars?
NRAA Webinar Wednesdays are approximately one hour long. Time varies according to webinar and may go slightly longer than one hour if Q&A creates an intuitive conversation.
 
Who should attend an NRAA Webinar?
NRAA Webinar Wednesdays are for anyone who is responsible for the operations of a dialysis facility or is involved in the renal community.  Each month, Webinar Wednesdays will present on a new topic featuring speakers who are experts in their field.  Visit the NRAA Webinar Wednesdays webpage to learn about this month's topic.

After each live webinar, participants will be automatically directed to a survey.  The results of this survey will be used in the planning of future NRAA webinars.
