The 2013 NRAA Annual Workshop and Conference was held on Thursday and Friday, September 26 & 27 and featured expert speakers addressing the most critical topics facing ESRD professionals.

The 2012 NRAA Annual Workshop and Conference attracted more than 500 NRAA members and non-members who gathered in Savannah, GA for a one day workshop and 2 day conference and also to celebrate NRAA's 3
5th Anniversary! The Conference featured a Medical Directors Workshop (Understanding the Regulations in the Role of the
Medical Director) followed by a two-day conference, which includes an exhibit program. The 2012 Annual Conference provided an opportunity to exaime the past, present, and future of the ESRD and patient care.
This conference provided a look at the history of the ESRD program and how it has evolved over forty years. It also addressed the present legislative, legal, clinical and business issues facing the dialysis industry today and provided the tools needed to provide optimal patient care in the current environment. Lastly, the program showcased some of the technology and projections shaping the future of ESRD care and treatment. The conference provided medical directors, nurses and administrators with the opportunity to learn and share best practices and approaches to the medical, procedural, clinical and operational facets of ESRD patient care.
The 2012 Spring Meeting and Day on the Hill was held with over 100 people in attendance at the Westin D.C. City Center. Many attendees also participated in the Day on the Hill breakfast, featuring Representative Aaron Shock (R-IL), member of the House Ways and Means Committee.
The 2011 NRAA Annual Conference attracted over 500 attendees to the New Orleans Marriott in early October. A highlight was the one day workshop focused on bundling, with tracks addressing the financial and clinical aspects. Other presentations from the three day event included speakers from CMS, Dr. Tom Parker on Improved Outcomes, legal and legislative reports, a speaker on ACOâ„¢s, a provider panel addressing Ã¢â‚¬Å“Succeeding Under the Bundle, an update on the NRAA HIE program and a timely presentation on Avoiding Burnout in the Workplace.
